Penicillins are a group of antibiotics used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. They are derived from fungi, and their medical properties were discovered in 1928. Penicillin antibiotics stop bacteria from multiplying by preventing bacteria from forming the walls that surround them. The walls are necessary to protect the bacteria from their environment, and to keep the contents of the bacterial cell together. Bacteria cannot survive without a cell wall. Penicillin antibiotics are most effective when bacteria are actively multiplying and forming cell walls. Amoxicillin is one of the penicillins used the most.

This amoxicillin ELISA Kit is based on indirect competitive ELISA, the coupled penicillin antigen was pre-coated in the microwells, the penicillin will compete for the antibody with the pre-coated antigen, then add HRP enzyme conjugate and TMB substrate successively, the OD value of the sample is negatively correlated with the content of amoxicillin concentration in the sample. The standard curve is fitted by regression and multiplied by the corresponding dilution ratio to obtain the content of amoxicillin in the sample.

This ELISA kit is based on competitive ELISA to detect amoxicillin in milk, milk powder, honey, cell culture and other biological samples.
